Jugendsozialwerk and Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences jointly explore partnership opportunities with delegation members from Rabat, Morocco.

At the invitation of the Jugendsozialwerk, a delegation from the Royal Institute for Executive Training was in Nordhausen.

Together with guest lecturers from the International Project Week at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, which took place at the same time, joint meetings were held with the District Administrator on the organisation and structure of youth welfare offices, as well as a visit to the Wülfingerode Special Education Centre. All international guests were guests at the annual reception organised by the city and Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.

On 10 May 2023, University President Wagner also welcomed the representatives from Morocco to the campus. After an introduction to Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and the Sub-Institute for Sport, Youth and Childhood in Rabat, opportunities for cooperation in the areas of youth welfare, social work and information technologies were explored. A return visit to Morocco was envisaged to further develop the relationship.

Representatives from Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences from the Department of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, the Department of Studies and Teaching and the International Office were present at the evaluation talks. Also present were the Chairman of the Board of the Nordhausen Youth Social Services, Andreas Weigel, and the Head of the Nordhausen Family Centre, Vivian Grabe.
