Summary of the project

The digitalisation of teaching offers opportunities for the inclusion of people who are impaired or disadvantaged due to certain social categories (people with disabilities). However, the use of digital technologies in teaching can also lead to processes of exclusion.

The teaching innovation of the fellowship is intended to make these processes of digital inclusion and exclusion tangible in a variety of digitally supported personal ways as part of a „Participation and Participation Impairment“ module for students on the „Curative Education“ bachelor's degree programme. The main components are 1. a digital impairment course, 2. a hybrid workshop, 3. an e-learning course in which people with various disabilities or older and sick people themselves have their say on their experiences with digital inclusion and exclusion and report on their experiences.
