Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences bids farewell to the seventh cohort of the „Network Technology and Network Operation District Heating“ certificate programme - eighth cohort is almost fully booked

Nordhausen. On 28 May, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences successfully graduated the seventh cohort of the part-time certificate course „Network Technology and Network Operation District Heating“. 19 graduates completed the practice-oriented further education programme, which was developed in cooperation with AGFW and the TEAG Academy and is aimed at specialists and managers from the energy and water industry.
Over the course of two semesters, participants acquired in-depth knowledge in the planning, operational management and maintenance of district heating networks. Laboratory units, excursions and a close link to current issues in the industry rounded off the programme. The graduates are now qualified to take on responsible tasks in network operation and planning - right up to senior positions in technical management.
„We are delighted to be able to successfully graduate the seventh cohort. The combination of scientific foundation, practical training and close cooperation with the industry has once again proven its worth,“ says Prof. Dr.-Ing.
Demand for the continuing education programme remains high: the eighth cohort starts in October 2026 and is already almost fully booked. Those interested should apply as soon as possible.
