Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hung Vuong University on the initiation and intensification of relations as well as an agreement on student exchange. The agreement emphasises future cooperation in the fields of economics and engineering and envisages possible joint activities in the areas of start-up labs and research.

The ceremony took place on 7 November 2023 in the presence of the Thuringian Minister President Bodo Ramelow at the university site in Phu Tho Province (near Hanoi). Last week, an 80-strong official delegation of representatives from politics, business and science travelled to Vietnam under the leadership of the Minister President.

Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences was represented by Prof Dr Lutz Göcke, Professor of General Business Administration, in particular Digital Management. Prior to this, he visited HSN's long-standing partner university, the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) in Hanoi, on Monday. Together with representatives of the university management, the Department of International Cooperation and the Faculty of International Education, the prospects for further cooperation were discussed.
