Schäffer Poeschel-Verlag, which is part of the Haufe Group, facilitated an intensive exchange between book authors and interested trade fair visitors in a forum on 11 October 2018. Topics included the content and marketing strategies of current publications. The forum began with brief inputs from experienced representatives from the world of science literature, such as former world and European swimming champion Dr Michael Groß, who is now an independent management consultant and author. The HSN authors also took part in the get-together.

Prof Schwien represents at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in the degree programme Social management The area of "Financing social economy organisations", in which he teaches courses such as "Bookkeeping and accounting" and "Cost and performance accounting" together with Daniel Hoffmeister. Here, specific issues from the social economy such as care rate calculations, support and care accounts for people with disabilities or flat-rate cost analyses from the hospital sector are taught.

In a personal discussion with the programme director of Schäffer Poeschel Verlag, Martin Bergmann, about the current title and other planned textbook publications in this book series, the special socio-economic character of this book was discussed and further book projects for the coming years were specified.
