The buzzword "digitalisation" is currently on everyone's lips. Various knowledge impulses, the opportunity for personal exchange and direct networking were the goals of the event on 31 May in the Audimax of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. 50 participants were actively involved - including entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, founders, people interested in setting up a business and supporters from various institutions. The networking event was organised by Nordhausen University's start-up service and the Thuringian Centre for Business Start-ups and Entrepreneurship (ThEx).
As an introduction, Christian Müller (Managing Director of proagile.de Jena) explained the structures and methods of agile working in his keynote speech. In an interview with Sebastian Kupfer (Managing Director of InTraSol GmbH), Franziska Teichert (Project Manager of ThEx Mentoring) discussed the value of different mentors in the development process of a founder - from the initial idea to the start-up phase to strategic decisions in the growth process. Stephanie Kespohl and Matthias Kresel (Wirtschaftsjunioren Nordthüringen) gave further impulses on the advantages of a national network and Claudia Reich (Europa-Service Nordthüringen) on the promotion of European internships for founders and young entrepreneurs. Afterwards, there was room and time for individual discussions, exchange of experiences and networking over a small snack - the guests left the campus satisfied, with inspiring impressions and new contacts.
"At the beginning, we showed the complexity and paradoxes in a digital world. At the end, founders, young entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs took to the stage to talk about their very personal experiences in the digital and agile world. The range of experiences presented was colourful and illustrated the current balancing act of leading, founding and working," reports Dr Kareen Schlangen from the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences Start-up Service.
