Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and CFF GmbH & Co. KG from Ilmenau recently signed a cooperation agreement to promote training and further education. The agreement was signed by the President of the University, Prof Dr Jörg Wagner, and Markus Zott, Managing Director of CFF GmbH & Co. KG.

The aim of the cooperation is long-term collaboration in the field of dual study programmes, which in particular provides for the exchange of specialist knowledge, the implementation of joint projects and the promotion of students and graduates of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. Both partners want to strengthen the link between science and practice and specifically promote the training of young professionals.

"This cooperation is an important step towards linking our students even more closely with practice and offering them valuable insights into the world of work," emphasised Prof. Dr Jörg Wagner. Markus Zott also emphasised the importance of the partnership: "We are looking forward to a successful collaboration with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and are convinced that both sides will benefit from this exchange."

In addition to the joint processing of projects and the organisation of further training courses, the agreement also includes the recruitment of specialists for the regional economy and the expansion of the network of both partners in Germany and abroad.
