A representative of the Thuringian Centre for Mechanical Engineering (ThZM), Ilmenau Coordination Office, and representatives of the still young Thuringian Innovation Centre for Recyclable Materials at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (ThIWert) recently met in Nordhausen to share experiences and explore opportunities for cooperation. Dr Andreas Patschger, Head of the ThZM Coordination Office, Prof. Dr Ariane Ruff, Dr Volker Asemann as joint heads of ThIWert and Dr Christian Borowski as a researcher in the field of machine and component development exchanged views on projects and potential partners. In addition, joint events were planned that affect both innovation centres, e.g. in the field of plastics recycling from production waste from injection moulding companies.
