"Demo Day" at the university - it's not about protests, but about the presentation of the "university incubator"

On Wednesday, 12 June from 15:45 to 18:30 in the hikeLAB, innovative start-up ideas that have been developed in the university incubator in recent months will be presented.

The hike startup teams, including DORI, Happy Standard, Pathio, Anfang, findolin and kiindly, present the ideas and successes they have achieved in recent months. These teams, consisting of employees and students from Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, demonstrate the importance of an active start-up and entrepreneurial culture for the city of Nordhausen and the entire region of North Thuringia.

From innovative plant baskets for hydroponic systems, an app for bereavement counselling and innovative care products for children to sustainable children's furniture, the start-ups cover a wide range of industries and interests. The event offers a unique opportunity to meet the brains behind these creative projects in person at a relaxed networking event.

In addition to the pitches, the demo day also offers the opportunity to experience the startups' prototypes first-hand and to visit the university's StartupLab. The event not only creates a presentation platform for the start-ups, but also an opportunity for students and the local community to network with potential investors and experts. Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences uses such events to promote the combination of academic education and practical business start-ups, thereby focussing on the regional economy.
