Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences can look back on an extremely successful Open Day and the subsequent campus festival. Contrary to the weather forecasts, which predicted heavy rain, we were delighted to have bright sunshine. Numerous visitors from near and far found their way to our campus and contributed to the great atmosphere.

Visitors arrived before midday to visit the canteen and explore the green campus.

The official welcome by University President Prof Dr Jörg Wagner was followed by informative lectures and interactive workshops that dealt with current scientific topics and practical research insights. Our guests were able to experience at first hand how innovative technologies and future-orientated research are put into practice in various laboratory tours.

In addition, numerous information stands provided comprehensive information on the various degree programmes and services offered by the university. Visitors had the opportunity to talk directly to students and lecturers and obtain detailed information on the wide range of study options and campus life at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. The wide range of offers met with great interest and contributed significantly to the success of the day.

The campus party in the evening was also a complete success. Students, staff and visitors celebrated together to the music of various bands and DJs in an exuberant atmosphere and without any significant rain. Drinks and snacks rounded off the party and ensured a convivial end to the day.
