The first three semesters of the business studies programme are characterised by the Mandatory area focussed on this, Basic technical and methodological knowledge to impart. The three-semester business studies programme in the second stage of the course is also designed to In-depth expertise mediate, Application-orientated qualifications and develop skills for solving specific practical tasks. As a result, this second stage of the degree programme is much more strongly characterised by compulsory elective areas and seminar-style courses.
The second stage of the programme includes a Practical semester integrated. The aim of the practical semester is to combine business studies and professional practice. On the basis of the knowledge acquired in the first part of the programme, the aim is to impart skills in the application of knowledge and practical experience and to enable students to work on specific problems in the desired professional field.
With the Final thesis (Bachelor's thesis) should demonstrate that the candidate is able to familiarise themselves quickly, methodically and systematically with a new, unfamiliar problem from their subject area and to work on it independently within a limited period of time by applying scientific methods and findings and to be able to present and defend the results of their work in a colloquium.
In the second half of the final semester of the degree programme Business administration the Bachelor's thesis is completed.
