We cordially invite you to our informative and practical event on studying with disabilities (dyslexia and dyscalculia).
Together, we would like to shed light on the problem areas that can occur with dyslexia or dyscalculia during studies. We will also address the challenges of current diagnostics in adulthood and show possible ways of successfully overcoming the impairments caused by dyslexia or dyscalculia.
An important focus is on the design of disadvantage compensation measures and technical aids that meet requirements and help students with disabilities to cope better with everyday study life. Using practical examples, we show how these measures can be implemented in reality and what support options are available.
We would also like to present new perspectives through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in studies. The focus will be on innovative ways in which AI can support learning and exam preparation in order to break down the barriers caused by dyslexia or dyscalculia and promote academic success. The aim of the event is to show how knowledge can be absorbed and processed well despite dyslexia or dyscalculia in order to successfully complete a degree programme.
We are delighted that we have been able to get Mrs Annette Höinghaus from the Bundesverband Legasthenie und Dyskalkulie e.V. for this themed evening.
