Matthias Viehmann, seminar coordinator, and Dr Kareen Schlangen, Business Start-up Promotion at the FHN, presented the seminar participants with the certificates, which are one of several prerequisites for possible start-up funding. The content of the one-week event included Business start-up, tax and labour law, marketing, patent law, contract, commercial and civil law.
The seminar series has been organised in cooperation between the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and the law firm Lambrecht & Marx for 10 years now. To mark the anniversary, a small celebratory event was held on 9 May, at which Hans-Joachim Junker gave an impressive speech about his professional career at Nordbrand Nordhausen and the challenges of being Managing Director.
"I am impressed by the achievements of Mr Junker and his employees. For me as a native of Nordhausen, Nordbrand, like other companies such as IFA, NOBAS, Schachtbau and RFT, was part of my childhood and youth. I am very pleased that this traditional and world-famous company still exists in Nordhausen," emphasises Professor Viehmann.
The award ceremony for a previous photo competition was also integrated into the festive event.
Professor Viehmann and Monika Lambrecht have already indicated that the seminar series will be continued in the coming year, as it provides valuable information for the graduates' later everyday working life. And not only in the event of a business start-up.
