Under the motto "Alles INKLUSIV. Thuringian Universities for Diversity", the state-wide Diversity Days will take place from 12 May to 6 June 2025. Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is also taking part in the series of events with a diverse programme organised jointly by the university social work department, the GUS student council, the Stura, the Karzer, the diversity officers and many committed stakeholders.

Highlight: Diversity Day on 27 May 2025

An entire day is dedicated to diversity, respect and social coexistence. Visitors can expect a varied programme of encounters, discussions and activities:

• Storytelling café for the generations (9.30-11 a.m., House 18, SR30): Under the title "Our city - past and present", young and old meet for an intergenerational exchange over coffee and cake.
• Your Voice" workshop (10am-12pm, House 32): With Steffi Böttcher, participants learn to express themselves confidently with their voice and body. Places are limited - registration at .
• Information stands and activities on the lower campus (2pm - 4pm, in front of building 32): In addition to a ceremonial opening speech by Prof Dr Schramme, numerous initiatives will be presenting themselves - from fair trade and inclusion to queer topics. There will also be hands-on activities, snacks, games and creative offers such as T-shirt spray designs.
• Lecture: "Jewish life at universities after 7 October" (16-17:30, House 20, Room 14): Prof.in Dr Cordula Borbe sheds light on current developments and challenges.
• Discussion round in the evening (from 6 pm): In the Karzer on the topic "What does diversity mean to you?", the StuRa, the international regulars' table and the HSA will be there - the focus here is on personal exchange.

From 5 to 10 pm, the Green Island (Hesseröder Str. 8) is hosting a themed workshop followed by a concert. The evening will focus on anti-Semitism and create space for information, discussion and shared experiences.
