From now on, these ten students can look forward to a monthly grant of 300 euros and concentrate more on their studies during the funding period. Private sponsors will cover half of this amount. The second part is covered by the federal budget.

Six of the ten new scholarship holders were able to attend the award ceremony and another student sent a thank-you video from Shanghai, where she is currently doing an internship.

After greetings from the Lord Mayor of Nordhausen, Dr Klaus Zeh, and the 2nd Deputy Mayor of the district of Nordhausen, Stefan Nüßle, the certificates were presented.

The coveted certificates were presented by university president Prof Dr Jörg Wagner and the corresponding sponsors: Thomas Fahlbusch, Head of the Training and Further Education Department, IHK Erfurt; Ulrich Schlegel, Vice President IHK Erfurt; Wolfgang Asche, Chairman of the Foundation of Kreissparkasse Nordhausen; Harald Habermann, Chairman of Nordthüringer Volksbank; Bianca Ahlborn, Personnel Officer Maximator and René Zimprich, Personnel Officer Schachtbau Nordhausen.
