Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences welcomes interested visitors to its Open Day on 3 September from 1 to 6 pm.

Nordhausen is a small but fine university town. But what does the university have to offer? What can students who would like to study here expect? What has been and is happening in the field of research? What has changed in recent years on the now ultra-modern and beautiful campus?

Answers to these and many other questions can be found at the open day on Saturday, 3 September from 1 to 6 pm. EVERYONE is cordially invited! There is something for all ages.

Visitors can look forward to exciting lectures, workshops and discussions. These are not only worthwhile for those who missed the Long Night of Science. There are also great offers for children - experiments for young and old. All laboratories are open and there is plenty to touch, try out and marvel at.

Of course, there will also be information stands for the individual degree programmes, where professors and university staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about studying in Nordhausen. Last-minute students can even enrol for their desired degree programme on the spot.ย

A cricket tournament will be organised for sports enthusiasts. As a university with many international students, we will be offering culinary insights into Indian food culture at this open day. The canteen and the KARZER student club will also be open.

At 3 pm, there will be a panel discussion with representatives from the Institute for Renewable Energy Technology, local companies and the energy supplier team in.RET as well as HSN students on a very topical subject: "Winter is coming! - Looking ahead to winter and a future without coal and gas." The discussion will also be broadcast live: https://webconf.hs-nordhausen.de/b/zie-fp9-d7m

Another special highlight will be DJ Patrick Bรถrsch from Nordhausen, who will provide a great atmosphere with his sounds.

Detailed information on the numerous events on offer at the Open Day can be found on the university's website: www.hs-nordhausen.de/aktuelles/tag-der-offenen-tuer. Here you can download a map with all the event locations and a programme plan.
