Elisabeth Selbert is one of the four so-called "Mothers of the Basic Law" and played a key role in enshrining equal rights for women and men in the German constitution. In conversation with Prof Dr Viola Sporleder-Geb and Prof Dr Cordula Borbe, Susanne Selbert will pay tribute to her grandmother's political commitment and historical significance and at the same time take a very personal look at this impressive woman.

After the talk, there will be an opportunity for discussion and dialogue over a light snack.

The event is aimed at students, employees and interested members of the public. Admission is free.
