In the last week of the summer holidays from 4 to 8 August 2025, the university incubator HIKE in Nordhausen will once again open its doors to young people with ideas and a spirit of discovery: "FutureMakers - Your idea. Your innovation. Your future!" offers pupils in grades 10 to 12 the unique opportunity to turn their own ideas into real products.

In a creative environment with state-of-the-art technology - from 3D printing and sensor technology to hardware and software development - participants develop their own project alone or in a team. They are accompanied by university and research experts who provide advice and support and give insights into future-oriented study opportunities.

What can participants expect?

• Development of your own product - from the idea to the prototype
• Working with the latest technology and digital tools
• Creative processes, prototyping and real project work
• Support from experts in science and innovation
• Orientation aids for study and career paths in the field of technology

All pupils in years 10 to 12 who enjoy technology, tinkering, teamwork and innovation can take part. No previous knowledge is required - curiosity is enough!
