The signing of the agreement by University President Prof. Dr Jörg Wagner and Michael Kreisel, Head of the Franziskuswerk Specialist Academy for Curative Education, laid the foundation for close cooperation. The aim is to dovetail the training to become a state-recognised curative educator with the Bachelor's degree course in Curative Education - Participation and Inclusion (B.A.) at the HSN.

In addition to the President, Prof. Dr Andreas Seidel, Head of the Curative Education degree programme, also took part in the signing ceremony. "This cooperation opens up even better opportunities for our students to incorporate the knowledge they have already acquired from their professional training into their studies. We are thus creating synergies that are of great benefit to both practice and academic education," emphasised Prof. Seidel.

The cooperation makes it possible to have the content of the curative education programme credited towards the degree course. This facilitates the transition from the training programme to university studies and students can structure their individual educational pathways even more flexibly.
