Representatives from Beijing Foreign Studies University visited Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. Joint educational programmes and opportunities for cooperation were explored.

University President Prof Dr Jörg Wagner welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Beijing Foreign Studies University (Beijing) to Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.

Among the guests who travelled to the event were Guohui Li, Managing Director of the International Education Group of Beijing Foreign Studies University and Ming Ye, Head of the Education Partnership Department of the Education Group.

Founded in 1941, Beijing Foreign Studies University is the top address in China for training and study in the fields of foreign language skills and cultural studies. Graduates are qualified for the diplomatic service, the economy, intelligence services and the legal system as well as the school sector. It also has two school locations of its own and maintains partnerships with 70 schools in China.

During the visit, issues of cooperation for joint educational programmes, studies with increased practical components at the HSN and additional language and study preparation programmes were discussed. The next steps were the concrete definition of fields of cooperation and the preparation of a cooperation agreement.
