Every year in the summer semester, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences organises an International Project Week (IPW) - this year for the 26th time: over 250 students from all degree programmes are taking part this year, many of them on a voluntary basis.
From Monday to Thursday, students will work together on 17 subject-specific and interdisciplinary projects. The university-wide presentation of the results takes place on Friday. The special thing about this is that communication during the project work and presentations is exclusively in English.
This is possible thanks to the mobility funding lines of the Erasmus+ programme, the extensive international partner university and internship contact network and the language training integrated into the degree programmes at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.
The IPW at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences enjoys an outstanding reputation throughout Europe: 34 project proposals were received for this year's IPW and 22 invited guest lecturers finally responded to the call to carry out projects in addition to their regular teaching and work tasks.
