The 2nd Resource Forum will take place at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences from 24 to 25 October 2024. Current topics relating to bioresources, recycling, sustainable construction and technology will be discussed under the motto "Using technology and knowledge to conserve resources". The event is organised by the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Environmental and Recycling Technology, Geotechnics and the Thuringian Innovation Centre for Recyclable Materials.

The Resource Forum offers a unique platform for dialogue between science and industry. Experts from various fields, including renowned representatives from research and practice, will present their latest findings. Participants will be able to gain a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in several parallel subject areas.

The highlights of the programme include various keynote speeches on topics such as the circular economy, sustainable construction, bio-resources and technology/AI. On the first evening, 24 October, there will also be an evening event at the traditional Nordhausen distillery, where participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Registration and costs:

The participation fee for both days is 250 euros (plus VAT), although it is also possible to participate on one day only.
