Sunshine, good conversations and lots of curious guests on campus
Numerous visitors took advantage of the open day at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences to get to know the campus, discover degree programmes and talk to students and lecturers. Nordhausen. Last Saturday, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences welcomed hundreds of visitors to its open day on the Weinberghof campus in glorious sunshine. People of all ages took the opportunity to get to know the university, talk to students and lecturers and take a look behind the scenes of study, research and campus life.
From prospective students and their families to former students and interested members of the public, the event was very well attended throughout the afternoon. The programme included lectures on the degree programmes, laboratory tours, hands-on activities, campus tours and numerous information stands about studying, research and student life.
The varied children's programme was also well received by many families. The programme of events included numerous lectures, workshops and hands-on activities as well as a presentation of all of the university's degree programmes.
„The Open Day thrives on personal dialogue. It's always great to see how many people take the opportunity to get to know our university and discuss questions directly with students and teaching staff,“ says University President Prof Dr Jörg Wagner.
There was an open and lively atmosphere throughout the campus. Visitors were able to view modern laboratories, familiarise themselves with research projects and experience how teaching, research and work is carried out at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.
