Home | Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences launches comprehensive employee survey
25 April 2025
Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is currently conducting an internal employee survey. The aim is to systematically record the perspectives and experiences of employees in order to derive targeted measures for the further development of the working environment and to further strengthen the university as an employer.

The focus is on topics such as collaboration, job satisfaction, management culture and the attractiveness of the university as an employer. The survey is aimed at all employees - from administration, technology and science to professors.
"We see the satisfaction of our employees as a decisive factor in the further development of our university. Through this survey, we not only want to optimise our internal processes, but also further strengthen our position as an attractive employer in the region, especially for professors," explains University President Prof. Dr Jörg Wagner.
The "ProfX" project team, funded by the FH-Personal project, is responsible for conducting and analysing the survey in order to develop targeted measures for recruiting and retaining staff. This not only strengthens the employer brand, but also sustainably improves the working environment and cooperation at the university. The focus is particularly on the targeted approach and recruitment of professors, who are to be retained at the university in the long term through the results of the survey and the measures derived from it.
Employer branding, i.e. the targeted design and communication of the employer brand, is playing an increasingly important role these days. Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences wants to ensure that it is perceived as a forward-looking institution - both for existing employees and for future professors and other talented individuals in the region. The survey is an essential part of the employer branding process to create a working environment that is based on the needs and expectations of employees.
"This survey shows that we value the opinions and wishes of our employees and use them as a basis for positive development," says Wagner.
Participation is anonymous and voluntary. All employees are invited to give their opinion. The survey can be accessed via a QR code, which is displayed on posters throughout the university. The survey will run until mid-May 2025. Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is looking forward to active participation and would like to thank employees in advance for their commitment.
