Several company cars are available for business trips. Company vehicles are reserved using the company car reservation form in the process portal. This can be displayed using the search function. Please note that a driving licence check is carried out for the use of company cars at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. The legal regulation can be found in § 21 para. 1 no. 2 StVG in conjunction with § 21 para. 2 StVG. Further information on the reservation process can also be found in the process portal.

Business trips are all appointments that do not take place on the university campus. Training trips are trips for the purpose of training and further education that are predominantly or partly in the interest of the university. Before you embark on a business, training or further education trip, you must have it authorised by your line manager using the necessary form. This can be found in the process portal.

Before embarking on your first business or training trip, you must take full note of the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences travel expenses guidelines, which you can find in the process portal. Employees with personnel responsibility can also find a special checklist for authorising business trips in the portal. This can be found using the search function in the process portal. Business trips by professors in Germany are generally deemed to be authorised. The possibility of submitting an application remains unaffected. Exceptions: an application must be submitted for significant business reasons, higher accommodation costs than provided for in the city catalogue and for a business trip abroad.

Various free car parks are available on campus. Access to the staff car park is next to House 14. You can obtain a parking card to open the barrier, which is only required for this car park, from the Building and Estates Department. All other car parks can be found on the campus map.
