The laboratory is equipped with devices and machines for the preparation, testing and evaluation of specific material properties.

  • Universal testing machine (up to 100 kN)
  • Universal hardness testing machine (up to 2.5 kN)
  • Pendulum impact tester (up to 4 J)
  • Materialographic sample preparation (cutting, embedding, grinding, polishing)
  • System microscope with cameras and image processing
  • Polarisation microscope
  • Stereomicroscope/zoom
  • CNC-programmable sample and notch milling machine
