Dissertation
"Investigations into the frictional behaviour of axial rolling bearings"
University of Hanover - today Leibniz Universität Hannover (1985 - 1990)
This study examines the frictional behaviour of various axial bearing designs as a function of load, speed, lubricant viscosity, lubrication type, lubricant quantity and bore diameter, with the aim of verifying the applicability of the method for determining reference speeds and permissible speeds to axial rolling bearings and thus enabling this method to be standardised for all rolling bearing designs.
