The Master's degree programme in Industrial Engineering and Management at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is super flexible and really fun. The lectures and seminars are varied, the lecturers are committed and totally approachable. In addition, there is a well-kept campus where you simply feel at home.

ERT taught me to see recycling as a real system materials, processes, and quality. The programme gave me practical engineering thinking that I applied directly in my industry thesis on advanced aerosol recycling in the Netherlands.

What I particularly like about Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is how lively and diverse the interaction is. In university health management, we organise offers such as exercise sessions, nutrition workshops, bike checks and back health days. Being involved in student committees such as the student council, student council or faculty council also gives you the opportunity to actively shape your studies, make valuable contacts and develop important skills. This makes studying here an active, participative and personally enriching experience.

What I like most about Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is that both the lecturers and the students are friendly, humorous and open-minded - you don't feel like „just another number“ here, but really seen. I also really enjoy my studies overall, and I've met a few of my closest friends along the way.

What I particularly like about HSN is the special campus atmosphere. The open and personal interaction creates a strong sense of community where collaboration and exchange are a matter of course. Our beautiful, green campus also offers an inspiring environment to work in, so you simply feel at home here.

Nordhausen gave me the courage to be myself.
Coming out at CSD Nordhausen 2025 and experiencing the openness of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences has been life-changing - especially as a queer student with a migration background.

I'm proud to help build a safer, more inclusive space for future queer and international students. 🌈

Green lawns, blue skies, flowering shrubs – when the campus looks so lovely, it’s the perfect place to spend time. 🌳😎The library and Building 18 look just as they always have. On the roof, you can see the skylights leading to Level 4 of the library, where the economics books are kept. But something is missing from this old photo compared to today, isn’t it? 🤔Exactly, it’s Level 0 with the social science books and the floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a wonderful view of the campus’s green spaces. No wonder the window seats are so popular. You’d almost rather enjoy the view of the greenery than bury your nose in notes and books. 📚Level 0 is also home to one of the university’s many computer rooms. The library’s computer room is mainly used for training sessions, for example on Citavi, a reference management programme that makes working with sources much easier for you. 🖥️Where do you prefer to study in the library? 🙂#CampusTimeTravel #TimeTravel #Library #Books #Campus #CampusLove #HochschuleNordhausen #Nordhausen #Turingia #university
