The online application guides you step by step through the respective application on clearly arranged data entry pages. There are direct options for calling up help functions (completion instructions). When the application has been completed in full, it must be printed out. The sheet (pdf document) contains a list of the documents required and to be attached. If the printout is not possible for technical reasons or if problems occur during data entry, a new application is required. Your application will always be processed under the new (higher) applicant number.
How to apply
What information/documents do you need to complete the online application?
In order to ensure speedy completion (the entry time is limited), we recommend that you have the following documents / information ready so that quick access is possible during data entry:
- High school diploma or certificate of university entrance qualification
- Health insurance company and membership number
- Information about vocational training and employment (if available)
- Data on any service performed (including military service, civilian service, voluntary social year, voluntary ecological year) in the form of a service certificate
- Information on previous periods of study (incl. certificate of de-registration)
- Details of any internships completed, in particular for the degree programs in Health and Social Services and Special Education/Inclusive Studies
- for the study programme Innovation and Change Management a letter of motivation
- curriculum vitae
- for Master's degree applications, a diploma from the first university degree qualifying for a profession or a current list of grades with average grade and ECTS data as well as a curriculum vitae; for applications from abroad, the Bachelor's degree must be submitted; a provisional list of grades cannot be accepted
- Letter of motivation and, in the case of applications to Master's programmes offering further education, proof of practical experience after graduation.
- in the Master's programme Transdisciplinary Early Intervention, a cover letter is required in addition to the application documents
- In English-language master's programmes Computer Engineering for IoT Systems, Eng. Environmental and Recycling Technology and Renewable Energy Systems, proof of English language skills is required (see programme pages).
- International applicants who apply via Uni-Assist for the English-taught Master's programmes "Renewable Energy Systems", "Environmental Recycling Technology" and "Computer Engineering for IoT Systems", please refer to the website of the respective programme about the application procedure and for the required documents
- Information for Master’s programmes applicants from India: applications will be processed without the APS certificate; please note that you will need to present the APS certificate at the time of enrolment and visa application. Therefore, make sure that you apply for the certificate as soon as possible.
