Information about the study program

Study contents

The first three semesters of the business studies program, with the clearly predominant compulsory area, are designed to impart basic technical and methodological knowledge. The second part of the business studies program, which also lasts three semesters, is designed to impart in-depth specialist knowledge, build up application-oriented qualifications and develop skills for solving specific practical tasks. Consequently, this second stage of the study program is much more strongly characterized by elective courses and seminar-based course forms.

A semester of practical work experience is integrated into the second part of the course. The aim of the practical semester is to link business studies and professional practice. On the basis of the knowledge acquired during the first semester, students will acquire the ability to apply their knowledge and gain practical experience, and they will be able to work on concrete problems in their intended field of work.

The final thesis (Bachelor's thesis) is intended to prove that the candidate is able to quickly methodically and systematically familiarize himself with a new, unknown problem from his field of study and to work on it independently in a limited amount of time by applying scientific methods and knowledge and to present and defend the results of his work in a colloquium.

In the second half of the last semester of the Business Administrationprogramthe Bachelor thesis is written.
