With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, you will be prepared for a successful career in business practice and successful entrepreneurial independence. A business administration degree offers you a wide range of attractive opportunities for starting your career and for your future development.
We not only provide you with the business knowledge you need to operate successfully in companies, but also develop your skills and personality throughout your entire course of study. With our seminars on general business administration in the first and second semesters, we offer students with different entry requirements intensive support and thus preparation for later stages of their studies.
With our wide range of specializations and majors, we give you the opportunity to develop your strengths during the course of your studies and become a professional. All based on a strong foundation in business administration, a high degree of practical orientation and an intensive future orientation of our content.
Another advantage of the business studies program is the interdisciplinary course content (e.g. communication and presentation techniques). You will also be trained in key social skills such as teamwork, conflict management, negotiation skills and rhetoric.
Our extensive range of international partner universities also offers you the opportunity to enrich your excellent knowledge of business administration with an international component.
The first three semesters of the business studies program, with the clearly predominant compulsory area, are designed to impart basic technical and methodological knowledge. The second part of the business studies program, which also lasts three semesters, is designed to impart in-depth specialist knowledge, build up application-oriented qualifications and develop skills for solving specific practical tasks. Consequently, this second stage of the study program is much more strongly characterized by elective courses and seminar-based course forms.
A semester of practical work experience is integrated into the second part of the course. The aim of the practical semester is to link business studies and professional practice. On the basis of the knowledge acquired during the first semester, students will acquire the ability to apply their knowledge and gain practical experience, and they will be able to work on concrete problems in their intended field of work.
The final thesis (Bachelor's thesis) is intended to prove that the candidate is able to quickly methodically and systematically familiarize himself with a new, unknown problem from his field of study and to work on it independently in a limited amount of time by applying scientific methods and knowledge and to present and defend the results of his work in a colloquium.
In the second half of the last semester of the Business Administrationprogramthe Bachelor thesis is written.
